Alan P. AlmogelaAlan P. AlmogelaMS, BCBA, LBA

I am a BCBA/LBA who helps clients and supports caregivers and stakeholders through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). My goal is to improve the learner’s quality of life and their independence by teaching/coaching them functional skills and reduce inappropriate behaviors. It is my belief that anybody can learn and through collaboration and hard work we can achieve common goals.

In the past 14 years with different organizations/companies, we had improved on clients’ deficient skills and reduced challenging behaviors through implementation and practice of our various specialties. In the process I have received Longevity Awards from San Antonio State Supported Living Center and from my previous job (as a Multi-systemic therapist) in Oahu, Hawaii at Child and Family Services.

I have a passion for ABA but on the side I also enjoy the following: 1) spending time with wife and with my adult children; 2) practicing for and competing in table tennis (ping pong) tournaments; 3) watching NBA games; 4) streaming Sci-Fi and international movies and shows; 5) listening to various ABA and psychology podcasts; 6) watching YouTube; 7) cooking; 8) playing with our two cats and two dogs.
