Twinkle Autism Therapy works alongside your child’s current team of professionals, to make sure every participant is collaboratively working toward the same goals. At Twinkle, we believe that each child with autism deserves an independent life and the ability to connect with the world. Helping children on the autism spectrum and their families is our ultimate focus.

In-Home ABA

Twinkle Autism Therapy clinicians can provide in-home services if this is easier for your family. We will send a trained therapist to your house to run the ABA session and parent training from your home. Providing ABA therapy in the home environment allows us to directly enhance the quality of life. We can reach goals that are needed in the natural environment where they are needed the most. We work to ensure that the goals learned are applied and observed by caregivers and integrated into everyday life. Accomplishing this, results in significant and substantial behavior change.

Clinic-Based ABA

Our clinic apply ABA in a structured, controlled environment. This type of environment can increase motivation in your child, encourage new and emerging skills and promote positive behaviors.

Our in-clinic setting also allows our clinicians to provide the most consistency in day-to-day treatment as well as offering opportunities for therapists and supervisors to observe, confer and modify therapy plans as needed.

What is ABA?

Applied behavioral analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that can improve social, communication, and learning skills through positive reinforcement. Many experts consider ABA to be the gold-standard treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental conditions. The goal of treatment depends largely on your child’s individual needs.

ABA often results in children:

  • Showing more interest in people around them
  • Communicating with other people more effectively
  • Learning to ask for things they want clearly and specifically.
  • Having more focus at school
  • Reducing or stopping self-harming behaviors
  • Having fewer tantrums or other outbursts
